Blog post #2 Conor

Alexander and an unidentified girl in a displacement camp after liberation. Even though these two children did not know each other they found hope when they had no one else. Many children in these camps had never been treated as humans so it was difficult to help them. In these camps, the children were still not free until they were found by their families or were placed in an orphanage. So having gone through the terrors of the Holocaust and then being technically liberated, these children were still not free

  1. Conor,

I was disappointed that more people didn't do pictures with children. I also did my blog post about a child, so that's what mainly stood out to me in your post. I think that it is very important to not forget that some children grew up in Concentration Camps. Great post!

    1. No children would have grown up in concentration camps because they would have been deemed unfit to work, and therefore they would be killed.
