Solemn Allied troops observe the destruction to a German city wrought by World War 2. This image helps me understand the sheer scale of the damage that was caused.

Good Job Marco! This was a well written summary of the photo! In this you talk about how the soldiers are solemn. Do you believe that this could be tied to some of the reactions from the soldiers discovering concentration camps from many of the videos in class? (such as astonishment and disbelief) Also, why do you think that the soldiers appear to be solemn after finding the destruction of a German city, their enemies?
ReplyDeleteHey Marco,
ReplyDeleteYour summary was good. I want to know more about the allied troops. Anyways, the picture helped me visualize how ruined some of the cities were also. Overall, amazing caption!
